We WON!

I just wanted to share this wonderful news with you all....I signed up for a contest on facebook with Hot Chalk. Honestly, I love to win things for my classroom and students and this one seemed fairly simple. We just had to write what 3 things we would buy for our classroom if we could. Well, that was done without any problem!

We had terrific news..................we were one of the winners! I was so excited! I got a gift certificate from Really Good Stuff for 250.00 and I could get whatever I wanted for the classroom. Let me tell you, I had absolutely NO problem spending that money! I can hardly wait for the supplies to arrive in our classroom. I just know my students will love getting to use all the things I ordered!

I love to share great things that are happening in our classroom! Thank you for reading!

Box Tops

On Monday, your child will bring home a Box Top paper. For the month of October, the 3 classrooms that turn in the most Box Tops will get to Trunk or Treat at school! Be sure to look for the paper so you can send them in for your child. If you need more papers to put Box Tops on, use plain or notebook paper and tape 10 Box Tops to a page. This will count as well! Be sure to write your child's name and Mrs. Brown on each page so we will get credit.

Off to a GREAT Start!

I am so proud to say that we are off to a fabulous start this year! The students are all just precious and they seem to enjoy being at school. One thing they have on their mind for sure is when it is time to eat! It's so cute....it seems like everytime we get in line, they think we might be going to eat lunch. Well, they have learned that is not always the case!

One thing the students have started is homework. Can you believe every single student did their homework last night? What? Yay! They all read their baggie book and they also completed their work in the monthly homework calendar booklet. Way to go! Keep up the great work! Below is a group picture from the first week of school. I thought it turned out great~!

Aren't they all just adorable? We definitely think so!
